SPH's new Professor

Professor Vos, who is director of the Centre for Burden of Disease and Cost-Effectiveness, was appointed effective 24 July 2008.

Head of School, Professor Alan Lopez, said the promotion – the first to Professor in the School’s history – recognises the outstanding achievements and ongoing contributions of Professor Vos.

Professor Vos led last year’s The Burden of Disease and Injury in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and Burden of Disease and Injury in Australia 2003 reports.
