Biography:

Dr Sheleigh Lawler is a health psychologist who works as a Research Fellow at the School of Population Health’s Cancer Prevention Research Centre. Dr Lawler joined the Centre from the Queensland Cancer Fund where she was a Senior Research Officer. While completing her PhD in psychology (Therapeutic effects of massage on coping with stress and migraine: A self-regulatory perspective) at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, Dr Lawler also taught psychology courses. Her research interests include sun protection and the prevention of skin cancer, community-based interventions aimed at improving diet and physical activity, and cancer survival.
