Biography:
Dr Marks has a broad experience in public health nutrition, including research, teaching, consultancy, advisory and operational positions. His primary focus has been on addressing health issues through effective nutrition policy and programming, with experience in surveillance/ monitoring, evaluation, and a recent focus on implementation research. His research interests fall into three main areas, with involvement in projects in Australia and various locations in the Asia-Pacific region: evidence for nutrition policy & programming; prevention of micronutrient malnutrition; and valid nutritional assessment in cancer prevention and related chronic disease research.Qualifications:
