Graduate Diploma in Public Health (Nutrition)

You can complete the Graduate Diploma in Public Health (Nutrition) in two semesters (full-time) or four semesters (part-time). It can be studied internally or externally. This is a flexible program so please feel free to contact us for advice on your study options.

Students complete 16 units. All courses listed below are equal to two units each, unless otherwise specified.

Part A
You will choose four of these courses:

PUBH7600 Introduction to Epidemiology
PUBH7614 Health Systems, Organisation and Management
PUBH7620 Social Perspectives in Population Health
PUBH7630 Introduction to Biostatistics

Part B
You will complete both of these courses:

NUTR7001 Nutrition & Health
NUTR7002 Nutritional Assessment

Part C
You may choose up to two of these courses:

HPRM7010 Culture & Health
NUTR7003 Nutritional Policies and Programs
NUTR7005 Nutritional Epidemiology
NUTR7008 Nutrition in International Health
PUBH7006 Evaluation in Public Health
PUBH7012 Delivering Care in Communities
PUBH7100 International Disease Control Priorities
PUBH7610 Applied Research & Practice
